"Manjushri is the Boddhisattva of Wisdom, blesses one with wisdom, intelligence, retentive memory and eloquence."
Symbolises the wisdom Mind of all Buddhas. For the liberation of all sentient beings, he manifests here as the five different Manjushris and he can manifests in a multitude of peaceful and wrathful forms. It is believed that worshipping Manjushri blesses one with wisdom, intelligence, a retentive memory and eloquence.
The figure is shown carrying the flame tipped sword of Wisdom in his right hand to cut through ignorance. His left hand holds a pure lotus flower on which Prajnaparamita, the book of transcendental wisdom is placed. Manjushri sits upon a moon disc and upon his head he wears a gold diadem with precious jewels.
Manjushri's body is a soft orange and adorned with many precious ornaments. He wears two scarves. On his lower body he wears gold adorned cloths.
From behind emanates a nimbus decorated with flowers. To the fore of Manjushri are the offerings.
